Meet Anaya Davis
Clinical Mental Health Graduate Student at University of North Carolina Charlotte (UNCC)
Anaya is a third-year Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, pursuing a secondary concentration in Play Therapy. She is passionate about integrating Expressive Arts and Narrative Therapy modalities into her counseling work to help children find healing, self-expression, and personal growth.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, Anaya has served in various academic, professional, and community organizations, gaining hands-on experience in counseling, mentorship, and advocacy. Her research and service interests include motivation and identity development among African American students, as well as the creation and implementation of Expressive Arts programs that foster self-awareness and emotional well-being.
She works with children and adolescents to address:
Anxiety, stress, and life transitions
Identity development and self-esteem
Relationship and family concerns
Grief and loss
Motivation and academic challenges
As individuals continuously evolve and grow, she believes that counseling provides valuable tools for personal development, healing, and empowerment. 60 minute Initial Clinical Assessment: $40
55-Minute Psychotherapy Session: $35
Please note that insurance use is not available for these session. All services provided by Anaya Davis will be under the Clinical Supervision of Grace Tucker, LCMHC.
