Our Services
Help for Anxiety
When a child struggles with anxiety, the impact is felt throughout daily life. Anxiety can show up in many forms—anger, irritability, avoidance, or even physical symptoms like stomachaches or headaches. These behaviors are often signs of inner distress, especially when a child feels overwhelmed or doesn’t yet have the words to express their fears.
Our weekly in-person therapy help children understand and manage anxiety in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
Our approach includes:
Play Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Exposure Therapy
Mindfulness-based interventions
Play Therapy gives younger children a natural way to process emotions through imagination and storytelling. CBT helps kids recognize and challenge anxious thoughts. Exposure Therapy supports children in gradually facing fears with safety and confidence. Mindfulness techniques build emotional awareness and self-regulation.
With the right support, children can learn to manage anxiety with courage and clarity—feeling more in control, more capable, and more themselves.
Help for Depression
Depression in children can often manifest in subtle ways. A child may become more withdrawn, isolating themselves by spending more time in their room or avoiding activities they once enjoyed. You might notice a decrease in energy, changes in sleep or appetite, and an overall sense of disconnection from the world around them.
We offer therapy to help children understand and address the emotional challenges of depression.
Our approach includes:
Play Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
Mindfulness-based interventions
Play Therapy provides younger children with a safe and expressive outlet to explore their feelings and develop emotional resilience. CBT helps older children challenge negative thoughts and build healthier, more positive coping strategies. IPT focuses on improving interpersonal relationships and communication, while Mindfulness practices promote emotional awareness and help children stay present.
With the right support, children can reconnect with what once brought them joy and begin to find their way back to a more hopeful, balanced outlook.
Help for ADHD
ADHD affects more than just attention—it impacts a child’s ability to stay organized, manage time, and complete tasks. These challenges stem from difficulties with executive functioning, the self-regulating skills we all use to plan, focus, and follow through.
Our therapy focuses on skills-based interventions that teach kids practical strategies to stay on top of schoolwork and manage responsibilities at home. We help children build routines, use visual tools, break tasks into steps, and improve time awareness—all in ways that fit their strengths.
Our approach includes:
Play Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Parents are included in the process, learning how to support these skills consistently and reduce conflict at home and help them thrive at school.
