Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Yes! We are currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna.

What  are your fees?

Out of pocket fees are $175 for an Initial Clinical Assessment and $150 for additional 50-minute psychotherapy session.

What are the benefits of not using insurance?

When using insurance, mental health providers are typically required to share information with the insurance company in order for therapy services to be substantiated. This diagnosis may be included in the client's medical record and can impact future insurance coverage.

By paying out-of-pocket, clients can maintain greater control over their personal health information and limit the information that is shared with third parties. Additionally, clients have more control over their treatment plan and can work with their therapist to determine the best course of action based on their individual needs.

What's your cancellation policy?

If you would like to cancel your upcoming appointments, you can log into the client portal cancel your appointment or send us an email. If you fail to cancel your appointment in 24 hours of the time you will be charged the out-of-pocket fee for services.

Education Consulting may include but not be limited to: Preparing Letters for School Team, Section 504 Evaluation, Referral and Recommendation, Behavior Intervention Plan, Multi-Tiered System of Support etc

What do I need to know about No Surprises Act and Good Faith Estimates?

The No Surprises Act is a federal law that was enacted in December 2020 to protect consumers from unexpected medical bills, including those related to mental health and substance use disorder service. The No Surprises Act applies to both in-network and out-of-network mental health and substance use disorder services. It requires providers to give patients an estimate of the costs associated with their care, including any out-of-pocket expenses, before the care is provided.
